EVENT REPORT

 It was just a vague idea six months ago but what was clear though was the fact that we want it to be explosive considering the challenge of being the first events company to introduce this concept.

After months of intensive research and survey, inspiring and depressing feedbacks, obstacles of all sorts, the day has come for us to finally face the challenge and this is how our determination and uphill struggle paid off…

The exhibit hall was filled to the point that moving from one booth to another was a struggle. We were so overwhelmed to see that over 6,000 attended this jam-packed 2-day event! We were thrilled to know that most of our attendees were I-Café owners much to the delight of the exhibitors because they were able to reach their target market. This was made possible with the support of our advertisers, PC Buyers Guide as our co-presentor, the Entreprenuer Magazine, Business World, Buy & Sell Magazine; On-line portals like Pinoy PC.Net, Tipid PC.com. We also got the support of the Internet Café Owners Association of the Philippines and The Unified Lanshop Owners Association of the Philippines , making this event the biggest gathering of I-Café owners, businessmen and computer equipment fanatics that happened in the Philippines !

THE DISTINGUISHED GUESTS…

The guests and some of the exhibitors gave inspiring pointers to 300 pre registered internet café owners and those who are planning to put up one during the free seminar that was held March 10 (Saturday) at the Conference Room B of the Megatrade Hall.

	The Topics discussed were: •  Setting up an I-Café •  Choosing the best location •  Choosing the best software for your business •  Choosing the best DSL Provider •  Networking your PC the simplest way •  Making your I-Café safe and secure •  How to make your I-Café stand out from the rest •  Exploring other ways of earning through advertising •  Exploring other ways of learning by being a computer parts reseller The seminar started at 11:00 am and lasted till 5:00 pm . It was concluded with the organizers giving out certificates for those who attended the seminar. Simultaneously, at the stage area of Hall 3 was the product presentation of some of our exhibitors. It was made to able to let other visitors have a better understanding and knowledge about the products of our exhibitors.

We saw booths crowded with visitors inquiring about exhibitors' services and their products.

At 6pm , the Costume play started. Everybody paused for a while as we all enjoyed the presentation of the cosplayers. But before that, Intel and Eastern Telecoms have also presented some of their in-house performers.

During our rounds, we got numerous and overwhelming congratulations and positive feedbacks from the exhibitors. Most of them got to sell a good volume of their products that don't usually happen at the past exhibits they've participated. This came as a great surprise to them particularly to Philcopy.

Simple gestures have filled our hearts with praises and thanksgiving and all this we give back the glory to the powerful “Mastermind” behind all of this successful event.
